Luanda - The ambassador of Namibia to Angola, Cláudia Grace Uushona Thursday, in Luanda, delivered a donation of medicines, consisting of 10.200 paracetamol boxes of 120 and 500 mg, respectively, and 1.800 syringes.
According to the diplomat, the donation of Namibian manufacturing products aims to assist the efforts of the Angolan authorities with regard to fighting the epidemic of yellow fever, which in recent days has affected several families.
On the occasion, the minister of Foreign Affairs, Georges Chikoti, who received the donation, thanked the gesture, which he considered too deep for regarding the excellent historical relations of brotherhood between the two neighboring countries and peoples.
The event was attended by the incumbent minister of health, Luís Sambo, thus minister, Chikoti stressed that China will express its solidarity in near future with the same gesture.
